NBU Proudly Welcomes WHWS Customers and Employees to Its Family

North Baldwin Utilities (NBU) is excited to announce the integration of White House Water System (WHWS) customers into its valued family of customers. This marks a significant milestone in NBU's commitment to providing top-notch utility services to communities across North Baldwin County.

For many years, WHWS has partnered with and trusted NBU for its water needs. In September of 2023, NBU and WHWS entered a maintenance contract, with NBU assuming all field service responsibilities in the area. As part of this transition, WHWS field employees became NBU full-time employees, enhancing operational synergy between the two entities. At the end of May, the merger will be finalized, with WHWS office employees also joining NBU's workforce. Additionally, the current WHWS office will continue to be open as a second NBU location, providing convenience to the south end of NBU’s system.

“We are fully prepared and excited to welcome the WHWS customers and employees into our family," said Jason Padgett, CEO at NBU. "At NBU, we take pride in the North Baldwin community while still cherishing the unique identity of each community we serve."

WHWS customers can be on the lookout for additional information about NBU. They will also be receiving a request for information to help make the transition as easy as possible. NBU remains fully prepared to address any questions or concerns that may arise during this transition, guaranteeing a hassle-free experience for everyone involved.

Established in 1945, NBU has earned a reputation as a trusted provider of water, wastewater and natural gas services to residents throughout North Baldwin County. The addition of WHWS customers to NBU's service area adds to a growing list of communities proudly served, including Bay Minette, Stapleton, Stockton, Tensaw, Live Oak, Pine Grove, Highway 287, Holly Hills, Lottie, Rabun, Little River, Blackshear, Phillipsville and Perdido.

This integration not only strengthens NBU's operational footprint but also underscores its dedication to delivering exceptional utility services and fostering strong community ties across North Baldwin County.
