NBU will accept and review complaints even if all details are not provided.

 

Civil Rights Grievance Procedure

North Baldwin Utilities has established a fair and prompt process for resolving civil‑rights complaints.

 

1. Receipt & Acknowledgement

NBU will acknowledge your complaint within 10 business days by phone, email, or letter.

 

2. Investigation

The Civil Rights Coordinator will:
• Log and track the complaint
• Review all relevant information
• Request additional details if needed
• Conduct a fair investigation of the allegations

 

3. Determination

Within 60 days, NBU will issue a written decision explaining the findings and any corrective actions taken. If more time is needed, NBU will notify you.

4. Appeal

If you disagree with the determination, you may request reconsideration within 30 days of receiving the decision.
